    Wind

Wind! Wind! Wind! I am so tired of the wind. Right now, at 6:09 PM, it is 98 degrees with 8% humidity and 23 mile an hour winds. When you step outside it's like walking into a blow dryer.

My poor herb garden is looking so sick. Everything is limp and tinged with yellow. Nothing seems to be growing at all. It just sits there looking ill. I have been watering today since 6 AM this morning and the ground around the ones I watered first is already bone dry.

What we need is another of those nice slow soaking showers the Mother sent us a couple of weeks ago. Our monsoons are supposed to have started, but we won't see much rain from them until sometime next month if even then.

Oh well, enough sniveling. I just needed to vent a little. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Hope everyone had a great day.

    Love and Blessings

It's windy up here too. I'm watering my poor gardenia and herbs as well but the wind and heat are just beginning. Just heard this morning that Sunday is the start of Monsoon Season...more heat and wind with a little rain in the mix so it's unlikely that much will reach the ground *sigh*. Guess it's time for a little weather magick.

I like storms. Its fun to sit on a rock next to a lake in the missle of a lightning strom. I dont kno if its that I can predict where the luightning will strike next, or im so pissed that I have enuf energy to controal it but...I also love the rain, just because its water. I love warer, swimming, drinking, bathing, just standing in th rain, sooooo much. It just relaxes me. As for wind, up here, we dont get huricanes often, but we do get strong winds every now and than. I am 5ft (done growing) pitiet in size and shape (other than weight, 150lbs) and I get blown around like a feather. I do have to say that the humidity and heat are KILLING me. A nice trip to the ocean, get in, go numb, and swim, sounds really nice.
